Food & Drink

Andalucia … home of Tapas. Influenced by a mixture of Spanish, Jewish and Arabic traditions, the food is rich, super fresh and truly tasty.    Select one of the local sherries from neighbouring Jerez, a traditional Rioja or one of the new wines from the Serrania de Ronda, whatever you chose, eating and drinking is always a social occasion.  Que approveche!

Cities of Andalucia

Ronda & Arriate

Immediately on your doorstep is Arriate, a typical Andalucian Pueblo, populated by bars and cafes too numerous to mention, Arriate is a friendly slice of the Real Spain.   Ronda is only 10 minutes away and is justly famous for its spectacular location.  Set on a precipice, with the gorge in the centre of the town, Ronda is a jaw-dropping beautiful city.

Pueblos Blancos

Surrounding Villa Casa Soñana you have a cluster of some of Andalusia’s most beautiful mountain villages.   Known to the Spanish as simple ‘Los Pueblos Blancos’ (the white villages), few concessions have been made to ‘mainstream’ tourism and they demand that you slow down a pace or two!    Welcome to the Real Spain!

Majestic Seville, intimate Cordoba, spectacular Granada, marvellous Malaga, ancient Cadiz,  flashy Marbella, windy Tarifa or sherry filled Jerez  …. All are worth a visit and all within easy driving distance from Villa Casa Soñana. and all worth a visit.
