"We had a fantastic holiday in Andalucia. The weather was perfect, there's so much to see, wonderful food, Arriate is great, Ronda lively, and Ursula and Paul excellent hosts. Of course, Casa Sonana made it. What a beautiful house - so well designed and equipped and in such a marvellous position. We have rented quite a few villas over the years, but this was the best, as it brought everything together so well. Thank you. I am sure we'll return". The Gamble family, Essex.

"We have just spent a wonderful April week at Casa Sonana. It was our second visit to the house - it will not be our last!. The setting is wonderful, the house is truly beautiful and the surrounding area is delightful. In our experience of renting holiday villas, it is one of the very few which is actually much better in reality than the wonderful photographs on the website. "From the moment of our first enquiry to (sadly) getting back to the UK, our every need was catered for. Jill and Callum had done everything to ensure that our holiday would be memorable and once in Spain, Maria was on hand to provide up to the minute local information about fiestas etc, as well as looking after us in a friendly but unobtrusive way. The Villa itself is well situated - close to Ronda and not too far from the coast, but sufficiently distant to enjoy peace and calm whenever you need a break. The pool is great for kids - of all ages - and there is a well stocked library so you dont even need to worry about bringing something to read. All in all a highly recommended way to relax and enjoy Andalucia." Steve Noble, UK.

“Hola Jill - sorry to say our Spanish did not improve really and often slipped into French or Italian but it did not matter, we loved Ronda and the surrounding area, people are still relaxed and happy, so a really great place to be based. Then of course there is your beautiful villa - it was just lovely to have everything we need for a week on holiday with children, not need to rush out to find the odd things you need with young children and the local supermarket in Ronda was perfect for all our needs. We ended up cooking for ourselves most of the time even used the pizza oven for some home-made pizza which was great. The girls loved it and enjoyed the pool lots. We would recommend the villa to everyone really, don't think there is anything that would not work for most people who enjoy a relaxing villa holiday in a beautiful location”. Ann Hood, Scotland.

“We absolutely loved every minute at your beautiful home. The accommodation, the setting and everything else was really great. Ursula and Paul could not have been more helpful...especially when our battery on our car died outside your front door and Paul luckily had jumper cables to help us still have a great day. “We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in Villa Casa Sonana... cooked some fabulous spanish food, paella, tortilla, gazpacho, pesce, Morrocan lamb to name a few! Also sampled the Tapas in the wonderful bars in Arriate. Loved 'El Almacen' with it's buzzy atmosphere and friendly owner! Visited Ronda a few times, and we had a mini trip to Granada to visit the wonder that is the Alhambra. Casa Sonana was so relaxing that we spent many days just cooking, reading, swimming with many siestas! Shaun practised his Spanish guitar... Eloise & George loved Andalucia and are learnt new words daily! We dragged ourselves away from Casa Sonana to visit the local area - had an amazing visit to the Cave La Pileta, incredible. We spent a wonderful day at a beach on the Costa De La Luz - no English to be seen or heard! (apart from us!) with a fabulous Churringita on the beach cooking fresh fish to order for our lunch - squid, octopus, tuna, prawns .... delicious! Your housekeeping team were great and very helpful, it was lovely to have all our shopping done on our arrival and the Villa was kept so clean throughout our stay - we felt quite spoilt! "We had a really great holiday. We all agree that Villa Casa Sonana is simply superb. We are particularly discerning when it comes to renting holiday properties and it is not always easy to find such a beautifully designed house with such a tasteful, contemporary interior, in the perfect location with absolutely stunning views and perfect peace. " Even with 2 families of four, with all the children under the age of 5, the villa was wonderfully spacious and very comfortable. “Sadly the holiday already feels too far away, and we’re all lamenting the little leave we’ve all got left for the rest of the year! That’s testament to the fact that our break at the villa was phenomenal, it was just what the doctor ordered. Daily bbqs, lounging, swimming, and beers in the evening. We sat around on one of our last days thinking what we could think to change about the place and we genuinely struggled to think of anything. And even that thunderstorm was fantastic to watch rumble over the hills”. CJ, London.

“Just a quick emai,l to say how much we enjoyed our time in Villa Soñana. It really was great, two weeks of sun, self-indulgence and relaxation! The weather was perfect (not unbearably hot) and, of course, the pool was an enormous plus for the children and for all of us. Plenty of mouth-watering sessions too in the local restaurants and tapas bars and a truly memorable in-house meal to celebrate a landmark birthday for me, and I must tell you how much I appreciated the cake and the bubbly; very thoughtful of you”.
