Villa Casa Sonana

Andalucia. The name conjures images of tapas, sherry, mountains and the bright Andaluz sun. Its people, culture and landscapes are unforgettable.

Rent a luxury Villa in Andalucia and pamper yourself on your spanish holiday, this extraordinary holiday home is set in the heart of rural Andalucia. Its 7 acres on the edge of the Ronda mountains rolls gently down to a small river and looks out on the vistas which have inspired travellers since setting foot in this extraordinary region.

Villa Casa Sonana is the private holiday home of Callum & Jill who designed the house around their love for this region of Spain, its people and lifestyle. More than this, it is designed to provide a luxury holiday home for those who want to enjoy the real Spain in a contemporary, unique villa.

They commissioned their Architect to create a luxury villa whose airy, contemporary ambience takes advantage of the light and views out to the Sierra de Ronda. It's design was recognised by Channel 4's Grand Designs who were interested in featuring the villa on their programme.

Villa Casa Sonana sleeps 8 persons in 4 bedrooms all with luxury en-suite bathrooms. A large terrace sweeps around the villa, overlooking the private swimming pools, where you can relax with your sundowners watching that wonderful andalucian sun set over an uninterrupted view of Las Salinas (the salt hills) and Sierra de los Cumbres.

Its location is enviable.

Only 10 minutes from the historic town of Ronda and no more than a couple of hours to cities such as Seville, Granada, Marbella, Malaga, Tarifa and the Costa de la Luz. Not forgetting those wonderful "pueblos blancos" (the white villages), on your doorstep, for which Andalucia is famous.

North-west of Ronda, you'll find the village of Setenil. The white houses seem to emerge from the massive rocks, compared to the other pueblos blancos which are built on top of rocks lot of this town has actually been built inside caves and has a huge number of cave dwellers today and the main attractions are cave houses, cave bars & restaurants. It is a short distance from the villa and is a must see when visiting the area.
